Kadal is an upcoming Tamil movie directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. This film features the debut of new two faces for the film industry.One is Goutham Karthik the son of famous tamil actor Karthik who is the hero and the heroine is Thulasi Nair the daughter of popular actress Radha.

Another feature is, after a long while famous actor Arvind Swami is acting in this film. He doing a leading role in this movie.  Tamil action star Arjun is also handling an important role in this movie.

“The shooting is almost over and the post production works will start soon.The director expected to complete it  in a month or so,” says the sources close to the unit.

In music the cOmbination of Rahman and Vairamuthu is again occured,Oscar winner A R Rahman has composed music for ‘Kadal’, and he said to have come up with great songs. “Vairamuthu  has penned powerful lines, throwing light on the pains of fishermen,” sources said.

The song “Nenjukulle” was revealed by Rahman on MTV Unplugged
